Independent educational tribute
This is an unofficial preservation tribute concerning the 1987 Commodore 64 game The Great Giana Sisters. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the original creators, publishers, platform vendors, or successor rights holders.
Original media remains unchanged
The browser experience runs a local VICE x64 WebAssembly emulator around the original C64 disk image. Browser controls, save-state tools, and responsive presentation are implemented outside the original disk; the hosted disk is retained byte-for-byte and is not modified by those interface features.
Local runtime and isolation
The emulator runtime, WebAssembly, data files, and disk are served from this site rather than a CDN fallback. Cross-origin isolation and SharedArrayBuffer support are retained because they are required for the emulator architecture.
General C64 workbench
For openly licensed C64 programs or files selected from your own device, visit the separate C64 Vault browser workbench. Its media library, licensing records, and local-file workflow are independent of this tribute experience.

All original game code, artwork, music, level data, names, and other protected materials remain the property of their respective rights holders. This project does not claim original-IP ownership or redistribution authorization.
